Local elections are taking place on Thursday 1 May and you can get someone to register on your behalf (proxy vote) if you're not able to do it yourself in person.
You and your proxy must both be registered to vote before you can apply.
The deadline to apply for a proxy vote is 5pm on Wednesday 23 April.
Postal votes for the unitary election have been sent out, so if you have chosen to vote that way please keep a look out. Please ensure you follow the instructions in the pack to complete your postal ballot paper.
