Local elections are taking place on Thursday 1 May and you have just one week to register to vote if you’re not already.
You have until midnight on Friday 11 April – it’s a simple and quick process, all you need is your national insurance number to start.
We have also published the names of the candidates standing for election.
You will need ID to vote. You can check which forms of ID are accepted on the Electoral Commissioning website.
