Wiltshire Council is encouraging residents and stakeholders to provide their thoughts on a draft document that, if adopted, will help protect Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site from potential adverse developments.
The proposal is to introduce a Supplementary Planning Document and if it is brought in, it will become a ‘material consideration’ and would be taken into account when deciding any planning application in the area.
A consultation is now under way and runs until 5pm on Tuesday 17 June.
